    Make sure the vegetable oil is hot before you put the potatoes in. Although, when cooking other foods, you may sprinkle water into the pan to see if it will sizzle, do not get any water into the pan or it will pop!

    Cook the potato slices in the oil until they are golden brown. Do not burn them, as they will taste absolutely disgusting!
